NC Home Brewing is a blog designed to provide a resource for home brewers.  The goal of the site is to fill the gap between the many online resources for home brewing and the local home brew clubs and organizations.  We want to provide useful information to the brewers and start a conversation about the obsession hobby of home brewing.

The site is what you make it.  Take a look around.  You can learn more about me and the site, and check out the few posts we have up already.  Don’t worry, there is a lot more to come.  Some of the things we are working on include:

  • A showcase of home brewer DIY projects
  • Profiles of local brewers, clubs and groups
  • Clone recipes for craft beers
  • Info on meetups, swaps and group brews
  • Listings of vendors and clubs

Beyond that, we want to inspire each other by sharing and talking about what we love…beer.  Also, if you are interested in contributing to the site, whether it’s a story, a recipe, a project or anything brewing related, don’t hesitate to contact me.  We hope to not only feature local experts and professional brewers, but we want this to be a place to learn about and meet other home brewers.

Lastly, let me know what else you want to see on the blog.  As I said, it is a work in progress and we are all in control of where it goes from here.  If something sucks, or you feel like something is missing, or if you think a blog post is just factually wrong, let me know – post a comment, send an email.  We want this to be an accurate resource providing the information you want to know.

OK, enough rambling.  Go check out the site and let me know what you think.  Oh, and don’t forget to come back often, or better yet, subscribe for updates, as we have some great content lined up for the coming months!
