Last week, the Museum of Life and Science in Durham hosted a “Museum AfterHours” event about the science of beer. It was a great event that not only featured all of the great North Carolina breweries, but also a few home brewing organizations, and several stations demonstrating different scientific aspects of beer.
Some of our favorite exhibits included:
- How light affects beer and why we use brown bottles
- The physics of beer pong (see your shot plotted out)
- Create your own koozie
- The evolution of the beer can – tons of beer cans from their inception through today
Here are some photos we snapped at the event.
