Chapel Hill Home Brew Swap

Now that the new NC Home Brewing blog is alive and kickin’, I wanted to do something to thank all the people that have started reading.  I also wanted to create an opportunity to meet a lot of our followers in person and talk about upcoming posts, what they like and don’t like, as well as discuss opportunities for guest posts and features from different brewers in the area.

So, I decided to host a home brew swap at Bub O’Malley’s in Chapel Hill.  If you are a home brewer and can make it out to Chapel Hill on Wednesday night (8/3), come on out to Bub’s at 7:30pm and bring a few bottles of brew to share. We’ll be cracking open some bottles and sharing drinks and stories.  I hope it will be a learning experience for everyone involved.

If you are not yet a home brewer or if your fridge is currently empty, then come out anyways to meet some other local home brewers.  Maybe if you buy a beer from the bar, someone will swap you for a home brew.  Bub’s has a great selection of local and craft beer on tap and in bottles.

Thanks again for checking out the blog and stay tuned for other upcoming events and get-togethers.  I have posted several other local events and competitions on the event calendar as well.

Count me in on Wednesday! See everyone there.

I’m working my magic to make it as well. Should be fun… I’ve got a bunch of Miller Lite that I’m dumping in a growler this evening!

Looking forward to seeing both of you guys there! I think we’ll have a good turn out for such a last-minute event. I’m bringing a growler of brown ale and a couple of bottles of hefeweizen.

If you show up with Miller Lite in a growler, I’m turning you away at the door! ha!
