Heading into their third year, the annual homebrew festival “Homebrew for Hunger” is moving into a new space.
This year’s event will be held at the Cat’s Cradle music venue in Carrboro, NC, which will give event organizers the ability to explore some fun table layouts and have a more interesting set up in general, according to Ethan Johnson of Fifth Season Gardening Co., who organizes and hosts the event each year.
If the last two iterations are any indication, it is sure to be a festival full of fantastic beer and a large, enthusiastic crowd.
Homebrew for Hunger is a charitable event, of which 100% of the proceeds go to PORCH, a locally based hunger relief organization.
Information regarding signing up to serve beer, as well as purchase tickets to attend the event will be posted in the coming weeks on the Homebrew for Hunger website.
The date of this year’s event will be Saturday, November 16th, from noon until 4pm. So mark your calendars and start planning your beer – or just gearing up to taste other’s homebrewed creations. It is sure to be a fantastic festival, and we look forward to seeing everyone there.
